Become part of our exclusive DresdenHALF training group!

We accompany and support 10 runners on their way to the DresdenHALF – you choose whether you want to complete the half marathon for the first time or achieve a specific target time.

Send us an application video in which you briefly introduce yourself: who you are, why you want to be part of the DresdenHALF training group, what your goal is for the DresdenHALF, and feel free to tell us about your running history!

You can either send us the video by email to hello@dresden-half.com, preferably via WeTransfer or another provider, or upload it to Instagram and tag our channel @dresdenhalf.

The deadline for submissions is 25 January 2026, midnight.

On 30 January 2026, we will announce the participants of the training group on the DresdenHALF website and here on Instagram, and we will also contact you directly if possible. This will be followed by all the information about the further process and the first meeting.

The journey to DresdenHALF begins now!

The excitement is growing – because on 6 September 2026, the DresdenHALF will celebrate its premiere! In this episode, Günni and André look ahead together and talk about what makes this new half marathon so special.

In keeping with the premiere, we also present a real highlight – the DresdenHALF training group. We want to accompany you on your journey to the half marathon, whether you are preparing for your first half marathon or aiming for a new personal best time. The training group is led by Amy Fry and Reiner Mehlhorn, who are also guests in this episode. They talk about how they got into running themselves, what motivated them to become running coaches, and why they are so keen to accompany you on this journey. It's not just about training plans, but also about motivation, confidence in your own body and the good feeling of not training alone.
